Britt and Gould is an acoustic duo from Columbia, South Carolina. Britt and Gould’s first musical partnership was as guitarists for the popular Charleston, SC band Ashes of Old Ways which has played together since 2017 and has released 3 records that include “From the Ashes”, “Live at the Royal American”, and “Bottom of the Bottle”.
Adam Gould made the move from the Holy City to the Soda City in 2020 and he and Britt began working up a large collection of music that could appeal to a wide variety of audiences. The duo has compiled a setlist of original and cover songs that offer a diverse selection of well-known music that spans multiple decades and spotlights many different genres.
The duo has found success in multiple venue formats and regularly plays festivals, nightclubs, breweries, private parties, weddings, and corporate events.
Between their shows with Ashes of Old Ways and Britt and Gould Duo, the pair played 103 live performances together in 2021 in multiple cities that included Charleston, SC, Columbia, SC, Greenville, SC, Augusta, GA, and Savannah, GA.
In 2021 the duo released a self-titled, 3 song EP, that was recorded with local producer Cory Plaugh at Kaplow Studios. The pair also recorded a live video for the first installment of the BusKings Live Sessions.
